Culture Espresso is the original NYC "Midtown coffee oasis" letting folks forget they're even in midtown and not back in their respective neighborhood in Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx (or heck, even parts of New Jersey.) Culture's aesthetic is never overly slick or corporate, instead they make an effort to highlight local artists and keep a down-to-earth and D.I.Y. approach to their advertising, in-store signage, and merchandise.
The atmosphere of their shops is consistently industrial yet cozy, comfortable, and authentically cool. They also have some incredible baked goods, including their award-winning chocolate chip cookies. I've had the honor of creating various pieces for them over the years such as the banner for their original/flagship location and various marketing materials, signage, and packaging.
